Following the first small plum blossoms, it's the flower series(?)!
It is probably more familiar than koume.
When the flowers are in full bloom, you can see a lot of people enjoying cherry blossom viewing.
Let's take a closer look at cherry blossoms, which everyone knows, to learn more about them!

<About cherry blossoms>
・Cherry blossoms are deciduous broadleaf trees classified in the Prunus subgenus of the Prunus genus in the Rosaceae family, and their fruit is a cherry.
→ I'm sure everyone has tried it at least once.

・Cherry blossoms usually bloom from late March to mid-April → When we think of spring, graduation, and school entrance, we think of cherry blossoms. Which do you think of more when thinking of cherry blossoms, graduation or school entrance?

・It is also known as the national flower → In fact, Japan does not have a legally designated national flower... (I had never heard of this before.)
However, due to its familiarity with Japanese people, it is in fact treated as a national flower along with the chrysanthemum.

・March 27th is Sakura Day.
It was established in 1992 as a play on words, 3×9 (sakura)=27 → It's almost here.
By the end of the month, the cherry blossoms will be in full bloom in many places, creating a perfect view for Cherry Blossom Day.

And many more...
(Reference site → Wikipedia "Sakura" )

The more I look into it, the more I realize that cherry blossoms have a deep connection with the Japanese people.

If you are giving a gift in spring or to a foreigner, be sure to try wrapping it in a cherry blossom pattern!
