Floating Clouds

Sorry to keep you waiting.
It's already been two months since the last time I wrote about Koume...I'd like to discuss a bit about [Ukigumo]!

Floating Clouds is an original Morisa pattern made of many overlapping random curves, and as its name suggests, it represents clouds floating in the sky.
The curves overlap and form ovals in some places, reminiscent of clouds floating in the blue sky.

The lace is available in four pastel colors, which enhances the transparency. (Only white is available.)
Freely floating clouds have no direction, so it doesn't matter where you cut them.
It can be used not only as wrapping paper, but also as covering paper and lining paper!

So a little bit about clouds...
Clouds whose names change depending on the altitude: the floating clouds are called "cumulonimbus clouds"
Also known as cotton clouds, these cotton-like clouds float in the sky on sunny days. I think everyone has drawn this shape when drawing pictures of the sky as a child.
Cumulus clouds don't grow sideways or downwards, they grow upwards...

This time we looked at cumulus clouds, but there are many other types of clouds.
Everyone, please do some research and try using [Ukigumo] in various ways!

By the way, as an aside,
When I was little, I was influenced by a certain cartoon about a cat-shaped robot, and I thought that clouds = cotton candy, so it was delicious... (laughs)

Finally, let us introduce some of the ready-made Ukigumo products available at Morisa!
Pure white laminated sachet ...A drawstring bag made of lace washi paper. It is laminated, so it is sturdier than it looks!
Put small items or sweets in it to give as a gift. ・Ukigumo Paper ...Thicker than lace washi paper, so it is convenient for wrapping the outer box.
Available in small and flat rolls, please use according to your needs.

There are other products with the floating cloud pattern available, so if you're interested, head over to LadyRisa Tosa Washi now!
